Yesterday, I took a break from studying and went to brunch at Open City with my roommates. Because they serve brunch all-day every day of the week, Open City was on the top of the list of places to go. Additionally, their Yelp page features pictures of appealing items offered on their menu. My customer experience started by with the friendly hostess in-training telling us about the short ten to fifteen-minute wait. We were seated in the main dining room at the table closest to the door, and we waited for another fifteen minutes before a waitress hurriedly took our order. Overall, the food was very good and the menu featured a variety of breakfast, lunch, and dinner food, in addition to an extensive drink and dessert menu. My only complaint was with the unfriendly and inattentive waitress, who did not once come back after taking our order except to bring us the check after we had flagged her down. Although the breakfast pizza I ordered was delicious, I do not know if I would go back or recommend this restaurant to friends because of the poor service quality.
